I started this business as a curious newbie but have learned a lot through the process of incubation to hatching to heat lamps to the outside, I have experienced illnesses, wry neck, deaths, basically, most of it and I have gotten help with it from internet friends and have been taught lots. I found chickens so amazing and fascinating to watch. I choose the Silkie breed as I thought to myself, what breed is

And I found myself researching about Silkies, I think that they are one of the best urban breeds as they're not too loud and skittish and adapt to new places easily. 

 

I think that they're a great family pet, with caring characteristics that love kids.
